Sapan earned his M.S. in Computer Science at UW Madison. He developed an interest in neuroscience while working on examining neural subspaces in primary motor cortex between active movement and brain computer interface control. He is currently working on development and implementation of data acquisition and analysis framework, that will assist patch-clamp electrophysiology and two-photon microscopy. Prior to joining UW Madison in 2017, Sapan worked in the Bangalore offices of Neustar and VMware on projects like micro-architecture support for enterprise cloud platform, container infrastructure management, analytical crowd-sourced knowledge engine platform, DAG engine for analytical workflows.
