Pranav is an undergraduate student in the Biomedical Engineering program at UW‑Madison. He is currently studying the development of photoreceptor synapses in the macaque peripheral retina. He is driven by an interest in retinal connectomics and synapse development, hoping to illuminate our understanding of retinal structure and function. Previously, he investigated the role of interneurons in the pathogenesis of Huntington’s disease in the Gomez‑Pastor Lab at the University of Minnesota.
In his free time, Pranav enjoys reading, playing the saxophone, hiking, biking, and spending time with friends.
