I-Hsin is a PhD student in the Biophysics program at UW-Madison. She earned her Master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from National Taiwan University, where she studied the role of long non-coding RNA in telomere maintenance. She later joined a nano-bio-imaging lab at Academia Sinica in Taiwan to investigate chromatin dynamics using a label-free imaging system. Passionate about microscopy and image processing in biological systems, she is eager to explore retinal circuits in neurodevelopmental diseases by integrating electrophysiology with optical imaging techniques.
Beyond the lab, I-Hsin enjoys playing badminton and bouldering.
